AICE Power ingests energy data from your sites automatically via installed sensors. Here's what you need to know about the data pipeline.
Sensor data
Sensors transmit electrical measurements (voltage, current, power) at regular intervals. This happens automatically once installed. No manual data entry is required.
Supported connection types

|---|---|
| Wi-Fi | Most common, requires 2.4GHz network at sensor location |
| Ethernet | Industrial environments with unreliable Wi-Fi |
| Cellular (4G/LTE) | Remote sites without internet access |
Data quality indicators
The dashboard shows data quality status for each site:
Green
Data flowing normally.
Yellow
Intermittent gaps detected. Check sensor connectivity.
Red
No data received in the last hour. Action required.
Historical data import
If you have historical consumption data (utility bills, BMS exports), contact your account manager to discuss import options. Supported formats include CSV and Excel.
